Our ski club offers competitive mogul and slopestyle (pipe & park) programs for athletes aged 6+ in the Red Deer & Central Alberta area. Our primary winter training is held at Canyon Ski Resort and our Three Mile Bend Water Ramp facility in Red Deer in summer. In addition, we offer slopestyle training at Winsport in Calgary, and as well as early season and spring camps at Sunshine Village.

Our Teams
Fundamentalz
Learn to Freestyle Ski • 1 day/week
Our introductory program for skiers aged 6 - 12. Fundamentalz introduces entry-level skiers to freestyle terrain and skills through fun, safe progressions., Ccompetitions are optional.
Freestylerz
Learn to Train • 2+ days/week
Designed for skiers aged 10+, the program focuses on advancing their skills, learning a variety of tricks and spins, and preparing for competitions.
Competition Development
Train to Compete • 3+ days/week
The program emphasizes technical skiing, skill development, and competition readiness.
Part-Time
Focus & Refine Your skills
Designed for athletes to add training to schedules and focus and refine specific skills. Open to outside club athletes as space allows.

Our Red Deer ski club is committed to helping athletes develop a passion for skiing while building skills through expert coaching and strong parental support, all with a focus on safety. We create an environment where everyone feels included, has fun, and can grow as skiers.
We encourage athletes to stay motivated by focusing on their personal progress. By setting SMART goals and using positive feedback, we guide skiers to improve step by step. This approach helps them become confident, competitive skiers while enjoying the process along the way.
Our Facilities
Our Red Deer ski club builds and maintains top-tier facilities that cater to both beginners and high-level provincial and national freestyle athletes. We proudly welcome clubs from across the region to train at our venues and host premier events throughout the season.
Mogul Courses
We operate both a small and full-sized mogul course for on-snow training at Canyon Ski Resort, located just northeast of Red Deer.
Air Bag
Our facility at Canyon Ski Resort features an airbag site dedicated to developing athletes’ aerial skills.
Water Ramp & Trampolines
We operate a summer water ramp facility with multiple ramp sizes and a trampoline area giving our members the opportunity to train both on the tramp and in the water all summer long!
